Buttery New York Strip Steak
Cooked in butter at around 300 degrees, this steak develops beautiful browning and the butter that it cooks in makes it intensely delicious.

- 10-11 inch skillet
- Tongs
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 steak- 1 inch boneless New York Strip
Preparation Instructions
- Generously season steak with salt and pepper at least 2 hours before cooking
- Bring steak to room temperature before cooking
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat to 323°F
- Add 2 Tbsp butter to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Add 1 steak to pan
- Press steak down with tongs
- Stir 1 steak in the butter
- Use a paper towel to dry off the moisture on top of the steak
- Flip ingredients
- Stir ingredients
- Remove ingredients from pan
Finishing Instructions
- Let steak rest for 10 minutes before serving
