Equipment List


  • 10-11 inch skillet
  • Tongs

Ingredients


  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 steak
    - 1 inch boneless New York Strip

Preparation Instructions


  • Generously season steak with salt and pepper at least 2 hours before cooking
  • Bring steak to room temperature before cooking

Cooking Instructions


  • Preheat to 323°F
  • Add 2 Tbsp butter to pan
  • Stir ingredients
  • Add 1 steak to pan
  • Press steak down with tongs
  • Stir 1 steak in the butter
  • Use a paper towel to dry off the moisture on top of the steak
  • Flip ingredients
  • Stir ingredients
  • Remove ingredients from pan

Finishing Instructions


  • Let steak rest for 10 minutes before serving
