Equipment List
- 11-in. skillet
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 3 corn tortillas
- 1 lb shrimp- Peeled, deveined and marinated
- 1/4 c tequila
- 1/2 small red onion- sliced
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- Guacamole
- 2 large avocados
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 1 Tbsp cilantro
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1 lime- juiced
- 1/4 c red onion- diced
- Shrimp Marinade
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 lime- juiced
- 1/4 c crumbled feta cheese- (optional) as a garnish
- 2 Tbsp fresh chopped cilantro- (optional) add a garnish
Preparation Instructions
- Mix ingredients for marinade
- Add shrimp to marinade and let marinade for 30 minutes to one hour
- Peel, devein & marinate shrimp
- Prepare Guacamole by mixing together guacamole ingredients
- Prepare ingredients and set aside
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat to 381°F
- Add 1 Tbsp olive oil to pan
- Add 1 Tortilla to pan
- Flip Tortilla
- Remove Tortilla from pan
- Add Tortilla to pan
- Flip Tortilla
- Remove Tortilla from pan
- Add Tortilla to pan
- Flip Tortilla
- Remove Tortilla from pan
- Add 1 Tbsp olive oil to pan
- Add 1 lb shrimp to pan
- Flip 1 lb shrimp
- Add 1/4 c tequila to pan
- Flambe it!
- Add 1/2 small red onion to pan
- Add 1 clove crushed garlic to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Add 1 pinch kosher salt to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Remove ingredients from pan
Finishing Instructions
- Garnish with cilantro and feta cheese
