Ingredients
- 6 slices thick bacon
- 1 medium red onion- Diced
- 1 poblano pepper- diced
- 1 red pepper- diced
- 1 Tbsp garlic paste
- 2 cans black beans- 14 oz
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- cilantro- chopped (optional for garnish)
- 2 oz feta cheese- crumbled (optional for garnish)
Preparation Instructions
- Dice onion and peppers into 1/4 in. squares
- Prepare ingredients and set aside.
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat to 225°F
- Add 6 slices thick bacon to pan
- Flip ingredients
- Remove ingredients from pan
- Add 1 medium red onion to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Add 1 poblano pepper to pan
- Add 1 red pepper to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Stir ingredients
- Crumble and Add 6 slices thick bacon to pan
- Add 1 Tbsp garlic paste to pan
- Add 1/4 tsp sea salt to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Stir ingredients
- Add 2 cans black beans to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Taste and adjust seasonings
- Remove ingredients from pan
Finishing Instructions
- Garnish with cilantro and crumbled feta cheese
