Equipment List

  • 10-11 in skillet
  • Tongs


  • 2 Tbsp canola oil
  • 1 Steak
    - 1 inch boneless NY Strip
  • Salt and Pepper
    - to taste

Preparation Instructions

  • Season steak generously with salt and pepper at least 2 hours before cooking
  • Bring steak to room temperature before cooking

Cooking Instructions

  • Preheat to 446°F
  • Add 2 Tbsp canola oil to pan
  • Stir ingredients
  • Add 1 Steak to pan
  • Stir ingredients occasionally
  • Flip 1 Steak
  • Stir ingredients
  • Remove ingredients from pan

Finishing Instructions

  • Let steak rest 10 minutes before serving
