  • Dutch over or heavy-bottom pot
  • Immersion blender

Ingredients


  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 medium red onion
    - diced
  • 16 oz dark beer
  • 1 1/2 c ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
    - packed
  • 4 Tbsp honey
  • 1/4 c Chipotle sauce
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 c molasses

Cooking Instructions


  • Preheat to 108°F
  • Add 1 Tbsp Olive oil to pan
  • Add 1 medium red onion to pan
  • Stir ingredients
  • Stir ingredients

  • Add 16 oz dark beer to pan
  • Stir ingredients
  • Add 1 1/2 c ketchup to pan
  • Add 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar to pan
  • Add 1/2 c brown sugar to pan
  • Add 1/4 c Chipotle sauce to pan
  • Add 4 Tbsp honey to pan
  • Add 1/4 c molasses to pan
  • Add 1 tsp liquid smoke to pan
  • Add 1 tsp smoked paprika , 2 tsp black pepper and 1 tsp cumin to pan
  • Add 1 Tbsp garlic powder to pan
  • Stir ingredients
  • Stir ingredients

  • Remove from heat
  • Carefully blend with an immersion blender until fully incorporated.

Finishing Instructions


  • Add salt to taste
  • Cool completely and store in air-tight container.
