- Dutch oven or heavy-bottom pot
- Immersion blender
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp Olive oil
- 1 medium red onion- diced
- 16 oz dark beer
- 1 1/2 c ketchup
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 c brown sugar- packed
- 4 Tbsp honey
- 1/4 c Chipotle sauce
- 1 tsp liquid smoke
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 c molasses
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat to 108°F
- Add 1 Tbsp Olive oil to pan
- Add 1 medium red onion to pan
- Stir ingredients

- Add 16 oz dark beer to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Add 1 1/2 c ketchup to pan
- Add 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar to pan
- Add 1/2 c brown sugar to pan
- Add 1/4 c Chipotle sauce to pan
- Add 4 Tbsp honey to pan
- Add 1/4 c molasses to pan
- Add 1 tsp liquid smoke to pan
- Add 1 tsp smoked paprika , 2 tsp black pepper and 1 tsp cumin to pan
- Add 1 Tbsp garlic powder to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Stir ingredients

- Remove from heat
- Carefully blend with an immersion blender until fully incorporated.
Finishing Instructions
- Add salt to taste
- Cool completely and store in an air-tight container.
