Equipment List
- 10" non stick skillet
- Collander
Ingredients
- 1/8 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp hot water
- 3 tsp soy sauce
- 3 tsp dark soy sauce
- 4 tsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp ground white pepper
- 4 Tbsp canola oil- divided - 2 Tbsp at beginning and 2 Tbsp on noodles
- 1 c shiitake mushroom- sliced - white button mushrooms can be used
- 1 carrot- peeled and juiliene
- 1/4 c green onion- cut into 1" long pieces with light and dark parts separated
- 12 oz egg noodles - cooked and drained
Preparation Instructions
- Measure and prepare ingredients. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine salt and sugar with hot water. Stir till dissolved.
- In the same bowl, add soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil and white pepper. Stir. Set aside.Note: if you like the noodles saucy them double the recipe.
- Prepare noodles as on package. Drain in collander. Set aside.
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat to 404°F
- 2 Tbsp Canola Oil
- Add 1 c shiitake mushroom to pan
- Add carrots
- Add white ends of green onion
- Stir ingredients
- Add noodles
- Stir ingredients
- Add sauce
- Stir ingredients
- Remove from heat.
Finishing Instructions
- Finish with green onions.
- Serve immediately.
