  • Small bowl

Ingredients


  • 2 c cooked rice
    - short or medium grain
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1/2 c onion
    - diced
  • 3 cloves garlic
    - minced
  • 1 Tbsp ginger
    - fresh ginger - minced
  • 4 scallions
    - finely chopped
  • 2 c Turkey
    - leftover cooked Turkey meat or cooked rotisserie chicken
  • 1/2 c green beans
    - fresh - chopped
  • 1/2 c carrots
    - diced
  • 3 Tbsp white miso paste
    - found in asian section in the grocery store
  • 2 eggs
    - cracked and placed in a small bowl
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
    - add more to taste
  • salt
    - to taste
  • pepper
    - to taste
  • scallions
    - garnish optional - chopped
  • fried onion
    - garnish optional - store bought

Preparation Instructions


  • Cook the rice - Note: 2 c of cooked rice is needed so you only need 1 cup of uncooked rice plus 1 c of water to make the 2 c of cooked rice. If using freshly cooked rice then let it sit for 10 minutes to cook off.
  • Crack two eggs in a small bowl. Set aside.
  • Measure and prepare ingredients. Set aside.

Cooking Instructions


  • Preheat to 240°F
  • Add 3 Tbsp butter to pan
  • Stir ingredients
  • Add 1/2 c onion to pan
  • Add 3 cloves garlic to pan
  • Add 1 Tbsp ginger to pan
  • Add 4 scallions to pan
  • Stir ingredients
  • Stir ingredients
  • Add 1/2 c green beans to pan
  • Add 1/2 c carrots to pan
  • Stir ingredients
  • Add 2 c Turkey to pan
  • Stir ingredients
  • Stir ingredients
  • Add 3 Tbsp white miso paste to pan
  • Stir ingredients
  • Add 2 c cooked rice to pan
  • Stir ingredients
  • Note: Break rice up.
  • Stir ingredients
  • Make a hole in the center of the skillet.
  • Add two cracked eggs
  • Stir the eggs in the pan then mix with the rice
  • Stir ingredients
  • Stir ingredients
  • Stir ingredients
  • Remove from heat.

Finishing Instructions


  • Garnish with chopped scallions and fried onions.
