Equipment List
- Champagne flutes
- Air-tight container for simple syrup
Ingredients
- Strawberry Simple Syrup
- 1/2 lbs fresh strawberries- sliced
- 1 c water
- 1/2 c white sugar
- 750 ml bottle of Champagne or Brut
- cotton candy- for garnish
Preparation Instructions
- Measure and prepare ingredients. Set aside.
Cooking Instructions
- Add 1/2 lbs fresh strawberries to pan
- Add 1 c water to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Note: Bring to a boil
- Note: Once boiling then you want to bring down to a simmer
- Remove strawberries
- Add 1/2 c white sugar to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Remove from heat
Finishing Instructions
- Strain simple syrup through a sieve or fine mesh strainer
- Place in an air-tight container and let it come to room temperature before using
- In a champagne flute, add 1/2 oz of Strawberry Simple Syrup.
Top off the glass with Champagne or Brut. Optional : Garnish with Cotton Candy and/or strawberries.
