Equipment List
- Large nonstick skillet or heavy-bottom pan
- Silicone spatula
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper
Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1/4 c brown sugar- packed
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 3 c old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 c slivered almonds
- 1/2 c sliced almonds
- 1/2 c dried fruit- can use blueberries, cranberries, raspberries, etc
Cooking Instructions
- Turn on heat to a medium setting.
- Add 4 Tbsp butter to pan
- Add 1/4 c brown sugar to pan

- Add 1 Tbsp maple syrup to pan
- Add 1/4 tsp cinnamon to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Add 1 Tbsp honey to pan
- Add 1 tsp pure vanilla extract to pan
- Note: Looking for mixture to be slightly bubbling
- Stir ingredients
- Add 3 c old-fashioned oats to pan
- Add 1/2 c slivered almonds and 1/2 c sliced almonds to pan
- Stir ingredients until completed coated
- Stir ingredients
- Note: Temperature should be monitored closely at this point in the recipe to avoid burning the oats.

- Remove from heat, and immediately head to finishing steps for final steps of recipe.
Finishing Instructions
- Pour from pan onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Once granola is cooled, add dried fruit and stir to combine.
- Store in an air-tight container.
- Eat as is, or serve atop yogurt.
