Equipment List


  • Large sauce pot or Dutch oven
  • Whisk
  • Small bowl

Ingredients


  • 3 c unsalted beef stock
  • 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 c white wine
  • 2 cubes beef bouillon
    - finely crushed
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 c water
  • 1/8 c heavy whipping cream

Cooking Instructions


  • Turn on the heat to medium setting.
  • Add 3 c unsalted beef stock to pan
  • Add 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce to pan
  • Add 1/8 c white wine to pan
  • Add 2 cubes beef bouillon to pan
  • Add 1/2 tsp salt , 1/4 tsp black pepper and 1 tsp garlic powder to pan
  • Whisk ingredients

  • Pour water into cornstarch and whisk until thoroughly combined
  • Slowly pour cornstarch mixture into pot, whisking constantly to avoid clumping
  • Continue whisking until thoroughly incorporated
  • Add 1/8 c heavy whipping cream to pan
  • Whisk ingredients until thoroughly combined smooth
  • Serve immediately

Finishing Instructions


  • If available, add a few tablespoons of drippings (fat removed) from a roasted turkey, chicken, or ham to add an additional layer of flavor.
  • Keep gravy heated until ready to serve, as it thickens as it sits. if it cools too much, reheat and whisk.
