- Soup pot
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 c onion- diced
- 1 c carrots- peeled and diced
- 1 c celery- diced
- 3 garlic cloves- minced
- 3 Tbsp ginger- freshly grated
- 1 Tbsp lemongrass- minced - you can buy it minced already in the produce section
- 2 tsp thyme leaves- fresh
- 1 tsp oregano- fresh and minced
- 1 tsp rosemary- fresh and leaves taken off
- 5 c chicken stock
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 c water
- 2 cup Turkey leftovers - or you can use rotisserie chicken
- 1 c egg noodles
- 1/2 lemon juice- juice half of a lemon
- salt- to taste
- pepper- to taste
Preparation Instructions
- Juice half of a lemon with juice reamer. Set aside.
- Measure and prepare ingredients. Set aside.
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat to 284°F
- Add 3 Tbsp olive oil to pan
- Add 1 c onion to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Add 1 c carrots to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Add 1 c celery to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Stir ingredients
- Stir ingredients
- Add 3 garlic cloves to pan
- Add 3 Tbsp ginger to pan
- Add 1 Tbsp lemongrass to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Add 2 tsp thyme leaves to pan
- Add 1 tsp rosemary to pan
- Add 1 tsp oregano to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Add 5 c chicken stock to pan
- Add 2 bay leaves to pan
- Add 1 c water to pan
- Bring to a boil.
- Stir ingredients
- Once boiling then turn down to a simmer
- Stir ingredients
- Add 1 c egg noodles to pan
- Add 2 cup Turkey leftovers to pan
- Add 1/2 lemon juice to pan
- Bring soup to a boil
- Stir ingredients
- Add salt ans pepper to taste
- Remove from heat.
Finishing Instructions
- Serve immediately.
