Parmesan Bacon Chicken
Simple, fast and delicious plus cooked in one-pot. This dish is loaded with juicy chicken, thick bacon and indulgent creamy sauce.

Equipment List
- Large skillet
- Grater
- Shallow dish for dredging chicken
- Mallet or something to flatten the chicken
- Plate to place chicken on after it is cooked
Ingredients
- 3 slices thick cut bacon- diced
- 1 lb chicken breast- cut in half and flattened
- 1\2 tsp garlic powder
- 1\4 tsp onion powder
- salt- to taste
- pepper- to taste
- 1\3 c all purpose flour- for dredging the chicken
- 1\2 c chicken bone broth
- 4 Tbsp butter- cut the butter into 4 slices (1 Tbsp each)
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 c heavy cream
- 1\4 c parmesan cheese- grated (not shredded)
Preparation Instructions
- Gather and measure ingredients
- Cut chicken in half (to make pieces thin). Use mallet to flatten chicken evenly to a 1\4" thickness.
- Sprinkle both sides of the chicken with garlic powder and onion powder plus salt & pepper to taste.
- Place flour into a shallow dish. Lightly dredge chicken into the flour and shake off any extra flour. Set aside.
- Cook bacon bits (see Cooksy recipe).
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat to 377°F
- Add 2 Tbsp of butter
- Stir ingredients
- Add dreged chicken to pan.
- Note: Do not over crowd the pan with chicken. Chicken will steam instead of sear.
- Flip ingredients
- Remove chicken from stovetop. Set aside.
- Add 2 Tbsp of butter.
- Stir ingredients
- Add 1\2 c chicken bone broth to pan
- Add 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Add 1 c heavy cream to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Add 1\4 c parmesan cheese to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Stir till cheese is melted.
- Add chicken back into the pan.
- Remove from heat.
Finishing Instructions
- Sprinkle bacon bits onto the chicken.
- Enjoy with your favorite side - spaghetti or veggies.

Great recipe. good idea to add the bacon as it added a good flavor. I made a slight change by cooking the chicken in the bacon grease vs butter. will try the butter next time.
