Salmon with Garlic Lemon Butter

Equipment List
- 9-11 inch saute pan
- Tongs
- Papertowel - to pat salmon dry
Ingredients
- 2 Salmon Filets- skinless - about 4 ounce each
- Salt and pepper- to taste
- 1 lemon- for zest and half for slicing
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic- smashed
- 1 Tbsp parsley- chopped
Preparation Instructions
- Using a papertowel, pat dry salmon, and bring to room temperature
- Zest lemon, and slice half of it
- Cut salmon into 1-1/2 inch filets
- Season salmon with salt & pepper and lemon zest
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat to 277°F
- Add 1 Tbsp olive oil to pan
- Add 2 Salmon Filets to pan
- Note: Sear till golden brown
- Flip ingredients
- Add 1 Tbsp butter to pan
- Add 2 cloves garlic to pan
- Add lemon slices to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Flip 2 Salmon Filets
- Flip ingredients
- Remove salmon
- Remove garlic
- Remove lemon slices and place lemon slices over salmon
- Add 1 Tbsp parsley to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Stir and pour over salmon
Finishing Instructions
- Serve salmon with sauce
