Equipment List


  • Zester
  • Skillet
  • Vegetable peeler
  • Citrus juicer or reamer - if freshly squeezing orange juice

Ingredients


  • 6 carrots
    - peeled
  • 2 Tbsp plant-based butter
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1/3 c water
  • 1/3 c orange juice
    - freshly squeezed or store bought
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp orange zest
  • salt
    - to taste
  • pepper
    - to taste
  • parsley
    - optional garnish - chopped

Preparation Instructions


  • Peel carrots
  • Using a zester - zest the orange peel.
  • Using a citrus juicer or reamer, measure your orange juice OR you can use already made orange juice.
  • Mix water and honey together. Set aside.
  • Measure remaining ingredients. Set aside.

Cooking Instructions


  • Preheat to 242°F
  • Add 2 Tbsp plant-based butter to pan
  • Stir ingredients
  • Add 6 carrots to pan
  • Flip 6 carrots
  • Add 1/3 c orange juice to pan
  • Add honey and water mixture
  • Add 1 tsp cinnamon to pan
  • Add 1/4 tsp orange zest to pan
  • Stir ingredients
  • Note: Bring to a simmer.
  • Stir ingredients
  • Note: Honey glazed sauce should be thick and carmelized.
  • Remove from heat.

Finishing Instructions


  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Optional - sprinkle parsley
