- 10” Non stick pan (approx)
- Bowl
- Parchment-lined sheet pan
Ingredients
- 2 c quick oats
- 1/4 c sliced almonds
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp coconut flakes
- 1 Tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 Tbsp Chia seeds
- 2 tsp pure vanilla
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat to 131°F
- Note: Making granola is very dependent on temperature, and gas and electric cooktops preheat differently. If using an electronic cooktop, let your pan heat slowly to achieve optimal temperature.
- Add 2 c quick oats to pan
- Add 1/4 c sliced almonds to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Note: Stir frequently and monitor temperature closely.
- Note: Looking for your oat/nut mixture to be a slight golden brown color. Use caution not to burn.
- Empty oat/nut mixture into a bowl and set aside.
- Add 3 Tbsp butter to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Add 2 Tbsp packed brown sugar to pan
- Add 1 Tbsp honey to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Add 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice and 1 tsp cinnamon to pan
- Stir ingredients continually.
- Add 2 Tbsp coconut flakes to pan
- Add 1 Tbsp Chia seeds to pan
- Add 1 Tbsp sesame seeds to pan
- Add toasted oat/almond mixture back to pan
- Add 2 tsp pure vanilla to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Note: Stir continually.
Finishing Instructions
- Pour onto parchment-lined sheet pan & cool completely.
- Serve over yogurt.
