Crispy Honey Lime Chicken Thighs

Equipment List
- 10-12" skillet
Ingredients
- 2 lbs bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 c honey
- 1 lime juiced and zested
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Cooking Instructions
- Add 2 tsp cumin, 2 tsp chili powder , 1 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp pepper to bowl, and stir
- Rub mixture on chicken
- Heat ingredients
- Add 2 Tbsp olive oil to pan
- Add seasoned chicken to pan. for 8 minutes 20 seconds
- Flip chicken
- Flip chicken back over
- Remove chicken from pan
- Add 1/2 c honey to pan
- Add 1 lime juiced and zested to pan
- Add 2 Tbsp soy sauce to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Stir ingredients
- Stir ingredients
- Add chicken back to pan
- Spoon sauce over chicken pieces
- Note: If chicken thighs are thicker and/or struggling to reach 165 degrees internally, you can bake for few minutes in the oven at 400 degrees until done.
- Remove ingredients from pan
Finishing Instructions
- The sauce makes these even yummier served over rice.
- Drizzle with sauce as you plate the chicken.
