Ingredients


  • meatballs
    • 1 1/2 lbs ground chicken
    • 1/2 c panko
    • 1 egg
    • 3 Tbsp cilantro
      - chopped
    • 2 tsp yellow curry powder
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 Tbsp oil
    - olive oil/coconut oil/butter
  • 1/2 medium onion
    - diced
  • 3 cloves garlic
    - minced
  • 2 tsp ginger
    - freshly grated
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper powder
    - add more if you want it spicy
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 6 ounces tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 c chicken stock
  • 1/3 c heavy cream
  • salt
    - to taste
  • pepper
    - to taste
  • naan
    - optional
  • basmati rice
    - optional
  • cucumber
    - optional

Preparation Instructions


  • Measure and prepare all ingredients. Set aside.
    Step Image
  • Meatball Mixture - in a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, panko, 1 egg, cilantro, curry powder, salt and pepper.
  • Form meatballs - Using an ice cream scooper or roll mixture in hands (rub olive oil on hand). Form 1 in size meatballs.
  • Place meatballs onto a plate or baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.

Cooking Instructions


  • Preheat to 288°F
  • Add 1 Tbsp oil to pan
  • Add meatballs to the pan
  • Flip ingredients
  • Flip ingredients
  • Remove meatballs from pan
  • Add 4 Tbsp butter to pan
  • Stir ingredients
  • Add 1/2 medium onion to pan
  • Stir ingredients
  • Stir ingredients
  • Add 3 cloves garlic to pan
  • Add 2 tsp ginger to pan
  • Add 2 tsp garam masala to pan
  • Add 1 tsp ground turmeric to pan
  • Add 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper powder to pan
  • Stir ingredients

  • Add 8 ounces tomato sauce to pan
  • Add 6 ounces tomato paste to pan
  • Add 1 1/2 c chicken stock to pan
  • Stir ingredients
  • Stir ingredients
  • Add meatballs once sauce is boiling
  • Stir ingredients
  • Stir ingredients
  • Slowly add in the heavy cream
  • Stir ingredients
  • Add salt and pepper to taste
  • Stir ingredients
  • Remove from heat

Finishing Instructions


  • Serve with naan or basmati rice or cucumbers
