Equipment List
- 8" x 8" pan for thicker bars
- 6 qt pot
Ingredients
- 1/2 c unsalted butter
- 1 bag mini marshmallows- about 16 oz
- 6 c Lucky Charms cereal
- cooking spray- to grease pan
- 1/2 tsp salt
Preparation Instructions
- Measure ingredients and set aside.
- Grease pan with cooking spray or butter.
- Set 2 c of marshmallows aside to put in the cereal mixture later.
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat to 291°F
- Add 1/2 c unsalted butter to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Note: Check that butter is completely melted before adding marshmallows.
- Add marshmallows except the 2 c that is set aside
- Stir ingredients
- Note: Stir till marshmallows are completely melted.
- Turn off he heat or remove pot from heat. Add cereal.
- Stir ingredients
- Add the 2 c of marshmallows.
- Stir ingredients
- Stir till evenly combined.
Finishing Instructions
- Pour mixture into the greased pan. Gently press down to get an even top.
- Cool cereal bars completely before cutting.
