- Large non-stick skillet
- Medium mixing bowl
- Whisk
- Tongs
Ingredients
- 8 oz skinless salmon- cut into 1” cubes
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper- can adjust up or down for heat preference
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic- minced
- Juice of one lemon
Preparation Instructions
- Measure all ingredients
- Cut salmon into 1” squares
- Juice lemon
- Mince garlic
Cooking Instructions
- Add all dry seasonings to a mixing bowl and whisk until fully combined
- Add 8 oz skinless salmon to bowl and stir until each piece is fully coated
- Set salmon aside
- Place skillet on burner and turn on heat
- Add 2 Tbsp olive oil to pan
- Swirl pan to evenly coat bottom
- Add coated salmon to pan, ensuring each piece is separated and not touching
- Flip each piece of salmon, beginning with thinner pieces first, moving thicker pieces to center of pan and thinner pieces to the outer edge of pan
- For any thicker pieces, give them a quarter turn to sear side (helps ensure salmon is fully cooked in the middle)
- Add 2 cloves garlic to pan (add to surface of pan and not on top of salmon so that garlic is coated in oil and can fully saute)
- Add Juice of one lemon to pan
- Shake pan to incorporate garlic and lemon juice throughout the salmon pieces
- Continue shaking pan frequently
- Remove from heat
Finishing Instructions
- Enjoy as a main dish, or serve over a rice bowl, a salad, or in tacos
