Equipment List


  • Large non-stick skillet
  • Medium mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Tongs

Ingredients


  • 8 oz skinless salmon
    - cut into 1” cubes
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
    - can adjust up or down for heat preference
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
    - minced
  • Juice of one lemon

Preparation Instructions


  • Measure all ingredients

  • Cut salmon into 1” squares

  • Juice lemon
  • Mince garlic

Cooking Instructions


  • Add all dry seasonings to a mixing bowl and whisk until fully combined
  • Add 8 oz skinless salmon to bowl and stir until each piece is fully coated
  • Set salmon aside
  • Place skillet on burner and turn on heat
  • Add 2 Tbsp olive oil to pan
  • Swirl pan to evenly coat bottom
  • Add coated salmon to pan, ensuring each piece is separated and not touching
  • Flip each piece of salmon, beginning with thinner pieces first, moving thicker pieces to center of pan and thinner pieces to the outer edge of pan
  • For any thicker pieces, give them a quarter turn to sear side (helps ensure salmon is fully cooked in the middle)
  • Add 2 cloves garlic to pan (add to surface of pan and not on top of salmon so that garlic is coated in oil and can fully saute)
  • Add Juice of one lemon to pan
  • Shake pan to incorporate garlic and lemon juice throughout the salmon pieces
  • Continue shaking pan frequently
  • Remove from heat

Finishing Instructions


  • Enjoy as a main dish, or serve over a rice bowl, a salad, or in tacos
