  • 1 c heavy cream
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
    - use a good quality brand such as Ghirardelli
  • 3 Tbsp Bailey’s Irish Cream
    - can substitute bourbon

Cooking Instructions

  • Turn burner on to just above a medium setting.
  • Add 1 c heavy cream to pan
  • Note: Looking for a gentle simmer. Do not boil.
  • Turn off heat but leave pan on burner.
  • Add 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips to pan
  • Gently make sure chocolate chips are mostly submerged, but DO NOT stir.
  • Note: Allow mixture to sit for a minute or two to allow chips to soften and begin to melt.
  • Stir ingredients until chocolate is completely smooth.
  • Add 3 Tbsp Bailey’s Irish Cream to pan
  • Stir ingredients until mixture is smooth.
  • Keep on low heat while serving.

Finishing Instructions

  • Serve warm with fruit, pound cake, marshmallows, pretzels, etc.
