Equipment List
- 1 heavy bottomed sauce pan
- Mixing spoon
- Glass storage jar
Ingredients
- 1 c sugar
- 1/2 c cocoa powder- 100% cacao
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 c water
Preparation Instructions
- Gather and measure ingredients.
- Fully mix cocoa and sugar together in saucepan to remove all lumps.
Cooking Instructions
- Start heating over medium heat.
- Stir 1/2 c water into saucepan
- Stir ingredients
- Stir ingredients
- Add 1/4 tsp kosher salt to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Stir ingredients
- Remove from heat
Finishing Instructions
- Pour mixture into heat proof jar, wait for it to cool for 10 minutes then add in vanilla extract.
- This will hold in the fridge for approximately 10 days. Mix into your favorite drinks for a chocolate delight.
