Equipment List
- Medium sauce pan
- Whisk
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c milk chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 c half and half
- 3/4 c brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat to 86°F
- Add 1 1/2 c half and half to pan
- Add 3/4 c brown sugar to pan
- Stir ingredients
- Note: Heat until bubbles form on the edge of pan
- Add 3 Tbsp butter to pan
- Stir occasionally until butter is melted
- Turn off heat
- Add 2 1/2 c milk chocolate chips to pan
- Note: Do NOT stir, allow chocolate chips to rest for 2-3 min
- Whisk until smooth
- Add 1 tsp vanilla to pan
- Stir ingredients
Finishing Instructions
- Cool completely and store in refrigerator.
